Forget-me-nots

and other flowers

Welcome to "Forget-me-nots & Other Flowers" – an immersive art project that explores the intricate tapestry of human emotions, growth, and the fragility of existence through the captivating world of flowers. Join us on this transformative journey where art, mental health, and personal narratives intertwine, creating a profound celebration of resilience and the indomitable human spirit.

+/-100 Artists

We will ask +/-100 artists to contribute original artworks inspired by flowers. By bringing together artists from various backgrounds and artistic styles, we aim to create a tapestry of artworks that celebrates the multifaceted nature of human experiences and emotions. Through their original pieces inspired by flowers, these artists offer glimpses into their own journeys, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of creativity, symbolism, and personal narratives. Each artist's voice adds a unique brushstroke to the canvas of our collective expression.

The Book

A book will be printed as a captivating compilation that weaves together the visual and literary expressions of our selected artists. All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to organizations dedicated to suicide prevention and providing mental health resources.

the Exhibition

On the books release date we will host an immersive exhibition featuring the original artworks. Throughout the evening these artworks will be auctioned. Again, all proceeds from the auction will be donated to organizations dedicated to suicide prevention and providing mental health resources. The event will also feature a panel discussion led by mental health experts and advocates, aiming to spark conversations and break the stigma surrounding mental health.

The Donations

At the heart of the Forget-me-nots and Other Flowers project lies our unwavering commitment to uplift anyone who is suffering in silence through donations to organizations specializing in mental health resources and suicide prevention. With careful consideration, we have selected the following organizations:

The Steve Fund: The Steve Fund is a prominent organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color. They work closely with colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations to provide mental health services, resources, and advocacy that specifically cater to the unique experiences and needs of college students.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP): AFSP is a leading organization dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, advocacy, and support for individuals and communities affected by suicide.

The Trevor Project: The Trevor Project is a national organization focused on crisis intervention and suicide prevention among LGBTQIA+ youth, providing 24/7 support through phone, text, and chat services, as well as promoting acceptance and mental health resources.

Together, we strive to make a lasting difference and create a brighter future for those in need.
